Trick or Treat Event Today
Happy Halloween everyone! I'm injured this year so I won't be going out. I will however be giving away special treats to all of you. Treat Bag Page.

Auction Improvements
Credit Transactions: You will now be warned if you are bidding on something (or buying something now) in the auction with credit.
Lag Resolved: I fixed a lag issue that's been plaguing the auction for some time. In fact, the game in general should perform better now as it was server setting related and not the fault of my actual code or database usage.

Card System Announcement
Hey everybody, I've added a new Card system to PN. Here's the breakdown of how to get them:
With particular creatures (not all of them have cards), Complete Adventuring. They’ll have a low percentage chance, which is only increased by the Player Growth Attribute Adventuring, of acquiring their card.
Note that your chance of success finding cards will not be affected by TE, so feel free to slap something quick together. And you won't improve your odds of acquiring a particular card by doubling up on the same creature, so variety in party is still the spice of your adventuring life.
In the future, there will be mystery books containing them, which are not going to come from a LESP. I’m looking beyond LESPs lately toward future content everyone can enjoy. Because doing that makes the game better and helps me feel a little more fulfilled in my life. Not much, mind you, because this is still just a stupid web game I’ve slaved away at for 15 years, but you know.
You can view the cards you have or don’t have at the new “Player>Books>Card Album” page. Please note that a CTRL+F5 or cache clear may be needed to load the page correctly.
Note that you can freely trade and auction these with each other since they just take up space in your item inventory.
What do they do? Here are the two plans:
They will offer specific enchantments. I have not yet decided exactly which equipment they can be applied to. That feature is likely coming in November or December.
These cards will allow you to reskin default basic cards for various planned card games. Many of you will be perfectly familiar with things like Solitaire or Black Jack, and that’s all they’ll be. Nothing huge and special like some custom TCG system I came up with (and just risk everyone hating). Just basic, mildly fun stuff you guys likely already know to get yourself some extra resources before returning to the game’s core loop.
The actual card games arriving will be a while, as I first have to finish the new exploration system and get a new E1 fully functional.
That being said, I hope you guys can at least enjoy filling out your collection and that it encourages a little more adventuring around here.
