The Mercouria are a species of angelic beings frequently conscripted into mail delivery across the infernal sprawl of Niflheim. This particular Mercouria has been unfairly burdened with covering for the blunders of the scatterbrained Harpy Elizabeth, whose constant misdeliveries have pushed her colleague to the brink. The situation is only made worse by Trumpy Bird's absurd tariff policies, which have turned the postal system into a bureaucratic nightmare.

Eventually, overwhelmed and enraged, the Mercouria snapped - ripping a mailbox from the ground and hurling it at a lecherous recipient who couldn't keep his hands to himself. For this outburst, the head of the postal office imposed a cruel sentence: she is now subjected to Trumpy Bird's infamous re-education program, a twisted regimen of discipline and manipulation, blending pain with pleasure in an attempt to force obedience and reshape her into the model servant of the system.
