Once the proud guardian of a shrine that burned like a lone ember in the suffocating dark of Niflheim, this flaming Kitsune longed for more than isolation and ritual. Enticed by tales of the Onyx City, a dazzling metropolis of fine cuisine, boundless romance, and adoring crowds eager for a magical fox girl to light up the stage, she set out to chase a brighter future.

But the city didn't match the rumors. Instead of wonder, she found squalor; instead of love, loathing. The gleaming skyline masked a festering underbelly where oppression reigned and the vulnerable were sold for scraps. Forced to perform in a grimy strip club under watchful, leering eyes, the shrine maiden died in spirit, only for a magical girl to rise from her ashes.

She cast off her old self and donned a new purpose, wielding flame and fury to scour the city of its filth. Her transformation brings her closer to justice, taking a graceful step toward purging the theocratic tyrants who cling to power. In time, she allies with the Machinist, a leader of the resistance composed of rebels and thinkers, and together they ignite a revolution to burn the rot from Onyx City and make way for something better.
