Sekhmet had endured enough. The Eye of Ra burned within her as word reached her that her divine sisters had been taken—ensnared, broken, and reshaped by the corrupting grasp of a foreign evil. Where mercy failed, wrath would answer. As the Powerful One, born of the sun’s fire and fashioned for judgment, she would not allow the balance of maat to be defiled.
She passed through Da’at without hesitation, her lioness gaze unflinching as she crossed the threshold into Niflheim—a demonic, twisted hellscape crawling with perverse abominations and shrieking echoes of suffering. Each step was a vow. Each breath carried the promise of annihilation. The land itself recoiled from her presence, for Sekhmet was plague and cure alike, destruction made sacred.
With her kopesh blazing like the midday sun, she descended upon the prison halls of the damned. Chains forged by infernal hands shattered beneath her strikes, severed as easily as mortal flesh beneath her claws. One by one, she freed the captive gods, ceasing the endless torment into which the devil-god Asmodeus had deceived and dragged them. Her fury was precise, purposeful—not blind slaughter, but righteous devastation.
Where Sekhmet walked, evil burned away. Where she stood, the gods rose again. And Asmodeus would soon learn what all who defied the Eye of Ra learned in time: that Sekhmet’s wrath, once unleashed, could not be escaped—only survived, if mercy found them first.
