Although she was born a scant few minutes after her, Amarissa doesn't get along with her sister Chandra, their clashing personalities having been the source of numerous grudges between each other throughout the ages. Unlike her elder sister, Amarissa is outgoing and likes to spend time with humans, but she can still be reserved and shy regarding her emotions.
Once, she killed a mortal to gain their life energy, using it to empower herself in order to defeat her older sister. Now, she strives to make up for her prideful mistake, atoning for the guilt that continues to eat at her.
